How do you know when you've found a good fit in a supportive relationship?
There are many different aspects of experience to consider when seeking help with personal goals. Whether your primary focus is learning, development, healing, or liberation, you may have already felt like you spent too much time struggling to access relief, recognize progress, or teach your guide about your perspective.
You might be wandering, unable to locate purpose. You might know that you are seeking answers to specific questions. You might be searching for a trustworthy guide. You might have a need to feel seen in your truth, to have a subject matter expert ratify your understanding. You might be on a quest to acquire tools for self-care.
We welcome many different types of process, seeking to support you on your journey via building safety and consent.
Does it ever feel like expectations have changed without any conversation? Do group experiences ever move too fast for you to keep up? Are you noticing things nobody around you notices? Do you encounter atypical reactions to medication? Have you been repeatedly asked to stop pursuing soothing activities? Are you curious about how often you find yourself described as 'weird'?
Do you need to get something off your chest, to finally say that shameful thing out loud, to be witnessed in your struggle? Are people expressing intolerant opinions about ways of being which somehow feel familiar? Did you see advice online that fits your experience even without identifying with the group described? Do you question your personal identities or cultural affiliations?
Is your attention easily controlled? Is the effort required to shift your focus simply too much to bear? Do you have a toolbox full of practices for moving efficiently through various challenging situations? Do you understand your needs in most situations? Are you generally able to effectively advocate to get your needs met? Have you found collaborators? Are you looking for help from someone who has similar experience?
Providing critical feedback can feel like torture. Asking for change can be excruciating. Any feedback delivered with the intention of improved experience or repairing a rupture is welcome and frequently solicited within sessions. We want you to feel like you're in control of pacing, content, and interventions selected.
